In the following section, horses and donkeys population in regions of Greece is depicted, based on data drawn from Hellenic Statistical Authority's database. The data are analyzed taking into account region and sex.

Analysis description

The main areas of the data set are (a) Region, (b) year of reference , (c) the population category and (d) the population of horses and donkeys (male and female). The analysis is done with up-to-date data taken at the time of loading the page (or at each reload).

  • In the Horses population per category tab, each category's horse and donkeys population is plotted throughout the reporting period (for the years for which data are available).
  • In the Horses population population per region tab, each region's horse and donkeys population is plotted throughout the reporting period (for the years for which data are available).
  • The Data synopsis per horse type tab depicts briefly data about horses and donkeys in a tabular form.
  • The Download Data tab is available to the user to download the data set with the fields used for the analysis.
